About the Author

Rajiv Mehrishi is an ex-civil servant who had worked in desperate posts. He has completed his schooling from St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur and pursued his degree from St Stephen’s College, Delhi. Afterward, he moved to the UK for an MBA and completed his degree from the UK. He joined IAS in 1978 and served the country for 39 years and get retired in 2017. He was posted as Principal Secretary Finance and Chief Secretary in Rajasthan state government. On the Central level, he worked as Union Finance Secretary and Union Home Secretary. He is multitalented as he also has high command in playing, reading and specializing pickles.
